for nine months. The final award letter will be issued on completion of required

The Post-Doctoral Fellowship proposal of Dr Abdul Jabbar Shah,
Assistant Professor,
Department of Pharmacy, CIIT Abbottabad has been approved provisionally by HEC on
the 9th of January, 2010 to enable him to conduct Post-Doctoral Research on "Role
of EDHF In Hypertension" at Medical College of Wisconsin, USA for nine months. The
final award letter will be issued on completion of required formalities/documentation
by the applicant. |

for the duration of 24 months.

Research Grant Proposals
The research grant proposal
submitted by Dr Nasro Min-Allah, Assistant Professor, Department
of Computer Sciences, CIIT Islamabad has been approved on the 14th January, 2010
under (PPCR). The major focus of the proposal is to Enhance Feasibility Analysis
Techniques and Noval Scheduling Policies for Multicore Systems with collaboration
of Prof Dr Alan Burn, Department of Computer Sciences, The University of York, UK
for one month.
The research grant proposal submitted
by Dr Ishtiaq Ali, Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics,
CIIT Islamabad for funding under Pakistan Program for Collaborative Research (PPCR)
has been approved by HEC on 14th January, 2010. The research grant application focused
upon ?Modeling and Simulation of Chemical Engineering Process Using Spectral Methods?
to carryout collaborative research with Prof Dr Andreas Seidle Morgenstern at Max-Planck
institute for Dynamics of Complex Technical Systems, Magdeburg, Germany for one
month.
The research Project titled "ANALYTICAL AND NUMMERICAL INVESTIGATION OF
TWO-FACE FLOW MODELS" of the young faculty member of CIIT, Dr Habil Shamsul Qamar , associate Professor , Department Of Mathematics ,
CIIT Islamabad has recently been approved by the Higher Education Commission (HEC)
for a period of thirty six months.
