OIC Delegates Visited CIIT, Islamabad Campus and Library |
| A 16 member delegation of 14th General Assembly Meeting of Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC), Committe on Scientific and Technological Cooperation (COMSTECH), visited CIIT, Islamabad Campus and library on January 13, 2011. |
| The meeting of Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation of OIC is being held at Convention Centre, Islamabad these days.The members from different Islamic countries like Syria, Iran, Bangladesh etc. are taking part in the meeting. |
| During the visit, a special briefing for the delegate was held at the Conference Room of the library, where, Dr. S. M. Junaid Zaidi, Rector CIIT and Dr. Arshad S. Malik, Registrar CIIT briefed them about the development of CIIT and future plans and vision. |
| Later on the delegation visited the library. Raja Muhammad Ibrahim, Senior Librarian accompanied them during their visit to library and briefed them about the facilities and services being offered to CIIT community. |
| Expressing their views about the CIIT and library, members of the delegation praised the efforts and congratulated the worthy Rector and his team members on developing this wonderful campus, and especially on developing state of the art library and termed it as good as any modern library of United Kingdom and USA. |
