Video Conferencing Facility
|
The Video Conferencing facility at CIIT is equipped with the state of art technology
to impart education in the best possible manner.
CIIT Campuses are linked through
dedicated broadband (2MB) connectivity and Video Conferencing facilities. Regular
courses/programs/seminars are being offered through these web-based technologies.

The Video Conferencing facility at Islamabad consists of a dedicated room to conduct
online classes. The room has been equipped with two state of the art cameras (front
and back), video conferencing equipment as well as the recording equipment to record
lectures. The video conferencing equipment has the functionality to connect to multiple
campuses thus multi session seminars and classes can be arranged easily.
Purchase
of a digital whiteboard for the ease of faculty and students is in progress. The
digital whiteboard has the feature of digitally transmitting the contents of the
whiteboard visibly and without delay at the remote campuses. Furthermore, the complete
presentation with annotations as well as any content written on the whiteboard can
be saved for later viewing and sharing.

In addition to that, the Video Conferencing facility
is available at Wah Campus, Attock Campus., Lahore Campus and Abbottabad Campus.
Setting up the equipment at Sahiwal Campus is underway.
