SEMINAR 1: Control Systems & Its Industrial Applications: A Local R&D Perspective

Abstract: The presentation was an introduction to basic concepts of control systems, its application in various industries of Pakistan. A major focus was on the group contributions in this field, both theoretical and practical. In particular, controllers design, parameter estimation, fault detection and isolation will be emphasized. The motivation of tackling local problems from control systems will be given by the problems resolved with these concepts.

Abstract: The purpose of this seminar was to bring awareness regarding education through e-learning especially to remote areas at nominal cost. It encompasses all forms of Technology-Enhanced learning such as online or Web-based learning. This e-Learning is self-paced and the learning sessions are available 24x7. Learners are not bound to a specific day/time to physically attend classes. The main target areas for this project are schools, colleges, universities and professional trainings.
