Mission Statement

COMSATS Engineering Project Exhibition (CEPEX) is a national level 2-day event with the aim to create a platform where students, faculty, experts and industry will exchange knowledge and expertise culminating in their self development and a chance to bolster national progress in the field of Engineering and Technology.

The idea of CEPEX originated a year ago as a national level exhibition planned to bridge the gap between industry and eminent scientists and engineers from various technological institutes of Pakistan. CEPEX has emerged as a forum where students from the prestigious and emerging institutes and from all over Pakistan contribute and compete by presenting their technological projects. Last year it turned out to be an excellent and productive experience for both the industry and academia. This year CEPEX2011 is again aiming to become a carnival of Engineering, Technology, Scientists, Industries and Professionals with a greater magnitude and a wider spectrum.

At the core of CEPEX2011 are a Project Exhibition and a symposium on ICTs for Rural and Industrial Development. In the project exhibition the participants can demonstrate their expertise in different areas of engineering. Along with the Project Exhibition an Industrial Expo (Job Fair, Industrial Stalls and Promotional Activities) is being organized with the intention to create an occasion where students, faculty, experts and industry will exchange knowledge and expertise. In parallel a myriad of various activities such as Microcontroller Interfacing, Debates, and Gaming etc would be scattered over the entire duration of the event for entertainment and stimulation of participants’ creativity. We believe that CEPEX2011 would be an occasion resulting not only in the personal development of the participants but also a chance to bolster national development in the field of Engineering and Technology.

Several prestigious organizations like National Testing Service, Pakistan Technology Board, Bank AlFalah, Islamabad Chambers of Commerce and Industry, and Pakistan Telecommunication Authority have joined hands in this mega-event.
