“The optimistic future for health
informatics” Think of the year 2015. It's not that far away. What health informatics
does? How health-informatics impacts health care industry? Whatever that vision is,
we cannot wait until 2015 to start planning it. Today, the students who come here,
the research we do, the care we provide... will all play a role in shaping the next
generation of health informatics and wellness.
That's the vision this heath informatics brings to its mission. We want to work
with you to create an optimistic future for health informatics. Better health information
for better health. |
- For medical graduate we’re developing a model integrated curriculum we developing
our research cores and boosted our MS Health Informatics graduate program.
- For pharmacists, other health professionals we’ve developed a doctoral program
to develop the movement information science of the future.
- For patients, we've to build advanced health information based on quality, safety,
m-health technology and Electronic Health Record System, Telemedicine.
- For our research and teaching teams, we've integrated the computer Science department;
Centre for Advanced Studies in Telecommunication (CAST) a partnership with Health
Information & Management System (HIMS) Ministry of health and teaching hospitals
The vision for 2015 means that transforming the learning journey for our students
will transform the health informatics journey for our patients. It's exciting and
I'm happy to share it with you.
